I met Ray once and had lunch with him when we hosted a great conference on sustainability in 2000 in my school. He 's inspired my personal and academic life all along, ad I do hope that his spirit will remain for ever, at Interface and all over the world.
My warmest thoughts to his family, relatives and friends

I would like to thank Ray for being such an inspirational figure and important role model to me. I always hoped that one day I would meet him, as he seemed so genuine and kind. I will forever be grateful to you Ray and will continue to spread your wise words. May Interface succeed in reaching the summit of Mt. Sustainability and in doing so, show others the way. Once again I thank you Ray Anderson.

I did not know Ray in person. I just know of him and the profound changes he has made in the fiber industry and how other companies struggle to follow in his footsteps. After watching this video, I regret never having an opportunity to get to know him or work for him. He was a true visionary and because he expected the best, he got the best. I am a true believer that you reap what you sow. Just by watching this video, it is very evident to me, that he cared. He cared for his company, family and the world. I love what he said (not sure if I quote it exactly right) but my perception was "you have two choices: you can choose to leave this world a better place, or you can choose not to...it's your choice" ... this was plain and simple - black and white. I am so glad I watched this video. It was very touching. You can tell by watching it that the people in it genuinely knew and cared for Ray. It left me in tears. God Bless and Thank you for sharing it!
